Find My Family Professional Genealogists
About

Two researchers, one job: find your people.

Find My Family Pro is Tracy Hall and Christopher Hall. The work starts with ancestors and relatives — the records, the DNA, the migration — and continues into the story the family can keep.

Our approach

Stories, not just names and dates.

Most genealogy software treats people like rows in a database. We don't. The point of a family history isn't the tree — it's the conversations the tree makes possible.

We start with what your family already knows, talks to the people who remember, and only then turn to the documents. A birth certificate is a fact. A grandmother singing in a kitchen is a story. Both belong in the archive.

When we hand a project back to you, the goal is never “a bigger tree.” The goal is something your grandchildren will still open — a written narrative, a recorded voice, a private family website with photos attached to people, not just names floating in a tree.

What we believe

Working principles.

Evidence over assumption

We cite sources, weigh conflicting evidence, and tell you when a connection is solid vs. probable vs. just hopeful.

Living people first

Privacy isn't an afterthought — living relatives are hidden by default, and sensitive findings are shared in person, not in an email.

Stories belong to families

We don't repurpose your family's documents, photos, or recordings. We don't train AI on them. We don't sell them.

Plain language

Our reports are written for your family, not for other genealogists. Footnotes for the curious; clarity for everyone else.

Honest scope

If a project is bigger than your budget — or smaller — we'll tell you. No drip pricing, no scope creep, no surprises.

Care, not just craft

Some of this work is hard: discovered siblings, hidden ancestries, painful chapters. We move at the pace your family can handle.

Let's preserve your family's story together.

Whether you're starting from a name on a napkin or three filing cabinets of documents, we'd love to hear what you have.
